Year2026, ongoing

Scaliscro is a seven-bedroom house on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis, taken by one party at a time. It sits on a coastal estate at the edge of the Atlantic, in one of the most remote and unspoilt corners of Scotland.

That remoteness is the point. Guests come to Scaliscro for the space, the silence and the sense of having a piece of the Hebrides entirely to themselves. It is the kind of place that travellers at this level hear about from someone they trust.

Our strategy

We have represented Scaliscro commercially since January 2026. A house this private is sold through introductions, so we took it directly to our own network of private clients, travel planners and lifestyle concierges, people who know their guests well enough to recommend somewhere this far from the usual route.

We also took on the reservations themselves, managing each enquiry from first contact to signed contract, then handing it to the team on the island with every detail of the stay agreed. That leaves the people who run the house free to concentrate on the guests in it.

Behind this sits the commercial thinking: how the house is priced through the seasons, what a stay includes and how its performance is tracked.

In our first year, Scaliscro has already comfortably exceeded its revenue target.
